Beeswax wraps are an eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap for food storage.

They are made with a blend of beeswax, tree resin, and organic jojoba oil, which work together to create a natural and breathable barrier that keeps food fresh.

The beeswax wrap can be molded and shaped around bowls, sandwiches, and other food items to keep them protected and contained.

They are reusable and can be washed with cool water and mild soap, making them a sustainable choice for food storage. In addition to being practical, beeswax wraps are also attractive and can be used as a decorative element in your kitchen.

Directions

Method 1

Melt the beeswax and pine rosin mix in a double boiler on a stove.

Using tongs, dip the fabric in the melted mixture ensuring that the fabric is fully immersed.

Place a wax sheet on a counter top and place all the fabric sheets on top of each other on the wax paper.

Take a second wax sheet and place it on top ensuring that the cotton fabric is sandwiched between the two sheets of wax paper.

Take an iron set to cotton and spread any excess to the sides ensuring that the mixture is evenly spread. Remove each piece of fabric and allow to set for a few seconds.
